L’histoire d’un cirque derrière le Rideau de fer, en Tchécoslovaquie. Karel Cernik, le directeur, est convoqué par un agent du ministère qui l’invite à faire de la propagande pendant le spectacle. Il refuse, appuyé par les membres du cirque…

English version

The film tells the tale of a Czech circus located behind the Iron Curtain. Its manager, Karel Cernik, is summoned by a ministry official who requests that  Cernik incorporate propaganda into his show. Cernik refuses, supported by the circus performers…
