Vienne 1938 : après la Nuit de Cristal et le meurtre de son père par les nazis, Ferry Tobler, un adolescent juif, fuit l’Autriche. Il échoue à Prague, où il fait la connaissance de Gandhi, soldat allemand anti-nazi échappé de Dachau, et d’Alena, une Tchèque chargée d’assister les réfugiés. Ils parviennent jusqu’à Paris mais, sans papiers, ils sont arrêtés et internés par les autorités françaises dans un camp…

Vienna, 1938. Following the Kristallnacht and his father’s murder at the hands of the Nazis, Ferry Tobler, a Jewish teenager, flees Austria. He ends up in Prague where he makes the acquaintance of Gandhi, an anti-Nazi German soldier on the run fromDachau, and Alena, a Czech woman in charge of helping refugees. They manage to make their way to Paris but with no papers they are arrested and placed in a camp by French authorities...
